My career in mental health started over 25 years ago with a focus on educational psychology, trauma and crisis intervention. Over the years this focus shifted to clinical psychology and hypnotherapy. My qualifications include a doctorate in clinical psychology, certification in Heart-centered clinical hypnotherapy and trauma-informed yoga instruction. More recently, I have discovered the value of mindfulness and meditation in facilitating healing and growth following traumatic events and stressful life circumstances. I utilize a variety of techniques from diverse disciplines to coach clients to acquire skills that alleviate and assist with stress management and the alleviation of anxiety, depression, the management of overwhelm, as well as physical and emotional manifestations of traumatic events. My practice has a focus on Heart-centered clinical hypnotherapy, and utilizing HeartMath technology.
